I am so excited about the cake I am doing for this Saturday! I get to make a Roller Skate cake for a little girl's skate party! This will be a 1st for me.....wish me luck! I can't wait to get started on it. I made and colored the fondant today........I will post some pictures as soon as I get it done! Thanks for your support!

Take Me Out To The Ball Game.....

Well, with 4 boys in our house baseball season is our busiest time of year! We absolutely love every minute of it. This cake is a devil's food cake with a cocoa whipped cream filling. This cake is covered entirely in vanilla buttercream icing. Delicious! This was just a spur of the moment cake for my family to enjoy and celebrate the kick-off of baseball season. Well, I am off to get prepared for 4 hours of practice tonight...so until next time.................. Go Pirates! Go Cardinals! Go White Sox! Go Red Sox! I think I got them all!

BINGO!

This is a Bingo cake that I made for my Mom's birthday. She loves to play bingo and is always up for taste testing new cakes for me. So, she got my first attempt at a topsy-turvy cake (which I will have to work on!). The bottom layer is white velvet cake with a lemon cream filling (her facorite!), the middle leayer is butter cake with chocolate cream cheese filling, and the top is white velvet cake with vanilla buttercream. The entire cake is edible, all of the accents are marshmallow fondant. I hope you enjoy!

Fun with zebra print!

This is a cake that I made for my sister-in-law. She had a party at her house and requested a zebra cake for just a few guests, so this is what I came up with. It was devil's food cake with a peanut butter chocolate buttercream filling. It was covered with marshmallow fondant...mmmmmm. This cake was really a lot of fun to make.
